Warranty Terms – Simply Microsoldering

Standard Warranty: 90 Days

All repairs come with a 90-day warranty from the original date of service. This applies to the original fault only.

⚠️ Warranty is not insurance. It covers faults in the original repair — not accidents, misuse, or unrelated failures.

🔁 Warranty repairs do not extend or reset the original coverage period. The 90-day warranty starts from the original repair date.

Special Exceptions:

  • Console HDMI & USB-C Port Repairs: 30-day warranty. These ports will last indefinitely if used correctly, but are frequently damaged through rough handling.

  • Blackmagic HDMI Chip Repairs: 30-day warranty. These typically fail due to external electrical issues — we repair the chip, but can't control what caused it to break.

Warranty Covers:

  • Faults or defects in the part or repair done by us.

  • Only if the device has not been physically damaged, exposed to liquid, or tampered with after repair.

Not Covered:

  • Any new issues unrelated to the original repair.

  • Physical damage: including drops, cracks, bends, impact, liquid damage, or cable strain.

  • Re-damage of the same component caused by user error or external forces.

  • Devices that have been opened or repaired by anyone else after our service.

🧠 Important Notes:

  • Microsoldering is highly specialized and often performed on boards with existing damage. Long-term stability cannot be guaranteed in cases of corrosion, prior repair attempts, or power damage.

  • Simply Repair Group Ltd is now closed. All work going forward is under Simply Microsoldering as a sole trader operation.

  • Goodwill fixes may be offered if we feel the situation is fair — but these are entirely at our discretion and not guaranteed.

  • We reserve the right to refuse warranty claims if the issue is misrepresented or clearly outside our responsibility.
